#theowstaketokyo day 7

Day 7: To me, this was one of my favourite days of all because we went to DISNEYLAND!!! Firstly, we began the day with a trip to the Tsukiji Fish Market. We gave the tuna auction a miss because it was way too early in the morning (starting at 5am). Sadly we didn't visit the wholesale area because we didn't walk further in (btw it's only open for tourists after 9am), but mum and dad went there after the sisters and I left for Disneyland. Instead, we roamed around the outer market, where there're small shops and restaurants available for the public.
Actually, our main purpose of going to tsukiji market was to try out the fresh seafood! When we googled for the best sushi restaurants in tsukiji, Sushi Dai and Daiwa Sushi were the first to appear. However, the queues were extremely long and we thought other restaurants won't be that bad right.. And we were right! Just a few shops down Sushi Dai, there it was, Ichiba Sushi restaurant, which had a much shorter queue. So we decided to give it a shot! We waited for nearly 20 minutes before getting our seats.. That's what you get for having 5 people in a family hahaha.
Seeing us stand outside in the cold, the kind owner gave us a cup of hot green tea each. We felt as though we were obliged to eat here hahaha just kidding.
LOOK AT THE PERSON PEEPING IN HAHAHAHAHA. Behind us were some Thai tourists.. They prolly saw us queuing and decided to join in the line, haha we created the queue!
The one with the chef hat is the kind boss!
Dad, mum and oli ordered this plate full of fresh sashimi.
Camy and I order this plate of goodness.
Melt in your mouth salmon sashimi.

My second time finishing a sashimi meal, except I left a few pieces for my dad because I couldn't stand the fishy smell haha. I was very satisfied with this meal.. It was DIVINE HAHAHAHA. Ichiba Sushi restaurant is definitely underrated. I highly recommend it if you have the chance to visit tsukiji market!

The moment I had been waiting for.. DI SI NI LE YUAN aka DISNEYLAND!!! *starts dancing* I was dying to go to there since forever. I have been to Hong Kong Disneyland 6 years ago, which was awesome. I still remember my mum screaming "I'm going to die!" while on the Space Mountain, definitely the highlight of the trip hahaha. This time, the parents didn't want to go because they thought it was lame :( But no one is too old to go to Disneyland right? RIGHT? RIGHT. After brunch, the sisters and I then headed to Disneyland by ourselves while the parents explored more of tsukiji market and did their own shopping. It was a 30 minute train ride from Tsukiji Shijo station to Disney Resort station. Woohoo excited!!
Me getting all hyped up to go to the Disney Resort!
 "YAY WE'RE FINALLY HERE!!'
Disneyland, where dreams come true!
Apparently, 17 year old and below can purchase a junior pass, which costs SGD$11 cheaper than the adult pass. Lucky me! :D
Tokyo Disneyland 2013 VS Hong Kong Disneyland 2007
Look at how much we've changed! The two sisters still having the same duck face hahaha. For me, braces really made a difference ;)
 HAPPY FACES IN DISNEYLAND :D
Our first ride was Snow White's adventures, then Peter Pan's flight and followed by Mickey's PhilharMagic in 3D. For every ride, we waited almost 45 minutes because it was so crowded even though it was a Thursday. While waiting, we played a game where we had to shout "DICK HEAD!" every time we see someone wearing a beanie sticking out of their heads hahahaha. Embarrassing, but whatever!
Behold the crazy sisters hahaha!
We saw a Japanese teenager wearing this Big Bad Wolf hat and he had a serious look on his face which was hilarious. We were laughing non stop every time we saw him HAHAHA wish I could snap a photo for you guys to laugh too.
Btw, my Minnie Mouse hair band was from Camy when she went to Tokyo Disneyland a few years ago.
Camy looking real ridiculous with her 3 eye hat hahaha.

Saw so many Japanese students on an excursion (I think) to Disneyland.. Lucky them! Most of them had a Disney hat on, even the guys haha kawaii!
Mini Snow White and Minnie Mouse.
I apologise for my greasy split fringe (ew!), focus on the Mickey Mouse Ice-cream biscuit ok!
Enjoying our Minnie and Mickey Mouse ice-cream while waiting for the Disney's Santa Village Parade to start!
Taking the polaroid like a pro. Doing it the MTP (Mark Teo Photography) way hahaha.
Hello little duckie quack quack.
 Strawberry cheerios yumz!

When it was almost dinner time, I was rambling on about how hungry I was, so my sisters got me hot dogs to shut me up hahaha sorry. Besides the kiddy rides mentioned above, we also went on the Star Tours: The Adventures Continue in 3D ride, Big Thunder Mountain rollercoaster and lastly, Pirates of the Caribbean boat ride. While waiting for the rides, we played charades to kill time. Not only were the queues long, we kept getting lost in the theme park. We walked round and round the park, but somehow always ended up at the same place grr. Nevertheless, I still love Disneyland because it makes me feel young and happy!
Crashing Minnie's crib.
So long, Tokyo Disneyland!

The only regret I had was not being able to go to Disneysea, which was just beside Disneyland. I know, in life, you can't have the best of both worlds right? Now I can make an excuse to go back to Tokyo because I haven't been to Disneysea yet hehe! And when I go there next time, I WILL/MUST GET MY DUFFY BEAR. HAHAHA.

Day 8: Back to Singapore, home sweet home.

Arigatou Gozaimasu mummy, daddy and the sisters for this unforgettable trip to Tokyo and Hakone! It definitely was a dream come true for me. Thankfully the family didn't quarrel during the trip and everything went smoothly! Yay to #theowstaketokyo!! :D

Sayonara Japan! I promise I'll be back soon. Xoxo <3

p/s: Photos taken by me, Camy and daddy.

p/s: Song of the trip was "Almost is never enough" by Ariana Grande ft Nathan Sykes. Everyday, we never failed to play this song while preparing to go out. Oli introduced this song to us and I got addicted to it ever since.
