Tbh, I love being a labour day baby because it means my birthday is always a holiday! Thanks mum haha! To be honest, I didn't expect any birthday surprise or party because I had already settled lunch/dinner plans with my family and friends. However, my sisters planned a birthday surprise and invited some of my friends over via facebook and whatsapp. It was crazy how they could get my primary, secondary and jc friends to come together all at once. It was indeed a surprise!!! I'm a lucky girl! <3

Initially, my plan was to have birthday dinner with my family at Z'en, a japanese restaurant located at River Valley road. The food was delicious, I especially love the grilled eel fried rice and beef shabu shabu. The best part was the free flow of calpis drink yay!
So after dinner, we drove back to iR to stay for the night. Mummy said we're gonna drink till I get drunk. And I believed so, since she'd rather I get drunk at home than at a club hahahaha. We got to the car park and I said I wanted to take photos with my family and my #ootd because the lighting at the restaurant was dim.
The youngest baby in the house is finally 18!!

Continuing with the story, when we were in the elevator, my sisters were like"eh, sit on the railing and take a photo leh!" And I was crazy to say yes and I started posing. I had no idea what was going on outside the lift. Apparently, I heard from my friends they were making a lot of noise and scrambling to light the candles. I couldn't hear anything because I was so into posing, omg how embarrassing.
When I finally opened the door, I was so surprised and speechless!!!
I started tearing because I saw my bestie holding the cake, my chingul right in front of my face and then my JC friends. I was like WHATTTT THEEEE HELLLL!?! (in a good way!)
It felt like the whole house was filled with love because of these adorable people. <3 <3 <3
Finally settled down to take a proper photo. No actually I was still in disbelief, I kept saying omg omg omg.
My source of happiness, my family awwww <3 Thanks sisters for planning this whole surprise and calling all my friends! Thank you mama ow and papa ow for bringing me into this world!
The surprise didn't just end there! They asked me to look at the balcony and there it was, A FREAKING DESSERT TABLE. Oh my holy moly. A 3 tier cupcake stand filled with chocolate green tea cupcakes, a tray full of earl grey macarons made by Janice and little cutesy decorations done by Yuexin.
How adorbz is that hahaha.

GOMAWAYO CHINGUL!!! Thanks for baking till late at night and sneaking into and out of my house to get baking equipments while I was out for tuition. They were really yummy and if you ever set up a online bakery, I will fully support you and advertise like mad for you. YOU DA BEST.
Thank you bffl for getting the cake, decorating the whole house so prettily, trying to get my other friends to come and for the handmade bunny make up pouch and eyeshadow palette too!!! LOVE YAAA.

Yuexin, Janice and I talked through the night till 5am. So interesting to see my best friends talk to one another and it wasn't awkward at all. Yuexin left at the break of dawn while Janice slept over for the night. That night, I felt genuinely happy and fortunate to have my family and friends celebrate my birthday. It was probably one of the best nights of 2014. <3

I was so tired the next day, I woke up at 11 and prepared to go Common Man and Coffee Roasters for brunch with the sisters! Janice didn't join us because her dad came to fetch her home and she said she didn't wanna spoil the sisters bonding time hahaha siao! We waited for 15-20 mins before we got our seats. It was so crowded and noisy, well that's because the food is good!
Common man full breakfast. Everything that consists of a good brunch meal.

We then headed back to iR to rest. I was supposed to study before going out to meet Huishi for dinner. But who the hell studies on their birthday!?! So I took a nap instead hahahaha. I met Huishi, Shamyn and Ziqing at katong to have dinner. We were so indecisive, in the end we settled for BFF (Batter Fluffy Flaps) pancakes!
We can choose the different toppings and pancake flavours and here's mine!
While waiting for the food, huishi's friends suddenly dropped by with a cake and sang a birthday song for me! Sho sweet of them! I'm so sorry that I look like crap because I was sooooo tired from only 6 hours of sleep last night. Nonetheless, thank you guys for celebrating my birthday with me!!!! AND FOR THE HUMONGOUS WABBIT PLUSHIE <3 <3 <3

Just when I thought all the celebrations was over, my class surprised me with a cake during break time! I was waiting for Sylvia's class to end so I could have lunch with her. My classmates were trying to finish their food quickly but I didn't even suspect anything. Thank you 1331 for being the bestest class ever! YOU GUYS ROCK MY SOCKS HAHAHAHA.
Shortly after this shot was taken, Soopeng smashed the cake in my face. TWICE. HAHAHA good job sp.

I sometimes wonder what on earth have I done to deserve so much love from so many people. I really thank each and everyone of you who wished me and celebrated my birthday. I have no complaints because I have the bestest family and bunch of friends. Love y'all from the moon and back <3
